The Kappa Foundation of Chattanooga


The Vision of The Kappa Foundation of Chattanooga:
To assist the Chattanooga Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated in increasing its capability to grant scholarships and sponsor additional community/service projects.

The Mission of The Kappa Foundation of Chattanooga:
To strengthen the grant and fund raising activities the Chattanooga Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated which will allow for increased community service involvement.

The Kappa Foundation of Chattanooga, was established to serve as the philanthropic arm of the Chattanooga Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. The fraternity was founded in 1911 with the motto of Achievement in every field of human endeavor. The Chattanooga Alumni Chapter was founded in 1946. The Foundation was established in 2004 as a non-profit, tax exempt, publicly supported organization as described in section 501-C(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. The purpose is to assist the community service efforts of the Chattanooga Alumni Chapter. The chapter currently supports scholarships and community/health service projects.
